LEGACY

[ 1793 // THE EXTRACTION DOSSIER ]

A RELIC. ISOLATED SINCE 1793.

A king who dismantled clocks in his private workshop.

A Swiss watchmaker he funded
who would change time itself.

A revolution that destroyed everything.

Except one crown.

And one obsession.

THE ORIGIN OF THE OBSESSION THE ORIGIN OF THE OBSESSION
[ PROTOCOL: GROUND ZERO ]

THE ORIGIN OF THE OBSESSION

In the private workshops of Versailles, time was not merely measured. It was studied, dismantled, and reimagined.

A king developed an obsession with horology. A watchmaker transformed that obsession into innovation.

What survived the collapse of an era was more than memory. It was a way of thinking about precision, permanence, and design.

Not a museum piece. A DNA donor.

THE LAST CROWN THAT SURVIVED
[ EVIDENCE: THE SURVIVING ASSET ]

THE LAST CROWN THAT SURVIVED

Twenty French crowns were destroyed.

Every single one. Except one.

The Crown of Louis XV — forged in 1722, set with 282 diamonds and 48 colored stones.

It survived the revolution intact. Today, it stands in the Louvre. Galerie d’Apollon.

This is not inspiration. This is origin.

THE ORIGIN LEFT A TRACE.

The coordinates trace back to Versailles.

In 1780, Abraham-Louis Breguet built the first self-winding watch.

The king became his patron. When the revolution came in 1793, Breguet fled to Switzerland.

He took everything.

The knowledge.
The invention.
The obsession.

What began in Versailles did not end in 1793. What survived was never meant to remain a memory. Today, it lives on in objects shaped by precision, permanence, and presence.
